Hotel Casa del Mar and Shutters on the Beach are offering an all-new “The Sky’s the Limit” engagement package throughout engagement season, which runs from Thanksgiving to Valentine’s Day. 47% of engagements typically occur during this 3-month season spanning New Years Eve, Christmas, and Valentine’s Day. When major west-side luxury brands say “the sky is the limit” they mean it literally!
The exclusive hotel package includes a piloted drone which will fly in and deliver a boxed engagement ring directly to the couple in a predetermined location. The memorable moment will be videoed by hidden cameras and a second drone flying nearby. One of the package perks is a complete engagement video edited and produced by professional filmmakers contracted by the hotels.
The engagement package starts at $9,900 and includes the flying-ring-box delivery service, a one-night stay in an ocean-view suite at either property, a bottle of champagne so the couple can toast to their new life together, a dinner for two at The Courtyard at 1 Pico, and a fully produced 5-10 minute engagement documentary highlighting the unique engagement event.
Newlyweds-to-be can also add upgrades to the experience including a private chef en-suite dinner, yacht cruise around the bay, a high-end car rental, and even the ability to put a message in lights animated on the world-famous Pacific Wheel on the Santa Monica Pier. The couples can kiss under the animated lights of the Ferris wheel which will display “Marry Me” for all on the beach to see.
