Make the most of your weekends by prioritizing your well-being for Self-Care Saturdays in Downtown Santa Monica. This weekly Saturday series of free events in Santa Monica is running each Saturday through September and offered in collaboration with Fit Girl Club LA and includes workout classes, access to local vendors, and the opportunity to connect with the community.

We all know that a little bit of luxury can go a long way when it comes to taking care of our mental and emotional well-being. Thatโ€™s why Self-Care Saturdays has partnered with local vendors to offer a convenient shopping experience you can enjoy before or after your workout (youโ€™re also welcome to just come for the shopping!).

Find creative and handmade items that can elevate your self-care from local and minority-owned brands. You can also enjoy one of the most popular Santa Monica events by browsing the famous Downtown Santa Monica Farmerโ€™s Market, open from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm every Saturday.

Free Workout Classes in Santa Monica

The main attraction of Self-Care Saturdays is the free workouts on Third Street Promenade. Start your weekend off right with these free, fun events that cater to a variety of fitness levels and workout styles. They are a great opportunity to try new workouts, meet like-minded wellness folks, and enjoy the great outdoors. For the best experience, bring a yoga mat, towel, and water.

Two workout classes are offered every Saturday morning, one at 10:00 am and one at 11:00 am. Attend one or both! The classes are free, but registration is required. You can RSVP for workouts here.

To help stop the spread of COVID-19, participants who are not vaccinated are strongly encouraged to wear a face mask that covers the nose, mouth, and chin.

Buns Of Steen with Nicole Steen

Date: Saturday, August 28

Time: 10:00 am

Shape your booty with the Buns of Steen Booty Workout. These fun workout classes in Santa Monica use a combination of toning, sculpting, and cardio exercises to help you achieve the silhouette of your dreams. Optional equipment to bring includes the Buns Of Steenยฎ Booty Band, Buns Of Steenยฎ Ankle Weights, and free weights (at least 5 pounds).

Power Yoga with Nicole Sciacca*

Join yoga teacher Nicole Sciacca for a morning of power yoga. Nicole discovered her passion for yoga after a back injury put her dance career on the back burner. She is the current Chief Yoga Officer of West Hollywoodโ€™s Playlist Yoga. This class is a great way to experience the spiritual and physical benefits of yoga, for beginner and experienced yogis alike.

TOWEL TONINGยฎ with Creator Virginia Biven

This unique workout uses functional training moves and resistance exercise techniques to engage muscles, improve mobility, and tone and lengthen your physique. The workout is choreographed to upbeat music for a motivating and energizing cardio experience.

Cardio Kickboxing with Sarit Zorano*
