test2 -netflix-hosts-the-stranger-things-premiere-after-party-at-pacific-park-on-the-santa-monica-pier

Off the Hook is an annual seafood festival held on the Santa Monica Pier in late summer. The event takes place on a Saturday afternoon and guests enjoy seafood dishes from over a dozen local  restaurants. There is also live music, games, and a hosted bar. This ticketed event raises money for Heal the Bay and provides guests with an opportunity to learn about enjoying sustainable seafood.

Chefs from local restaurants prepare their favorite seafood dishes including Lobster Mac-and-cheese from The Lobster, Oysters Rockefeller from the Fig and coconut shrimp from Bubba Gump. This year there are over 25 participating restaurants include Herringbone, The Albright, Blue Plate Oysterette and Sushi Roku. Guests can try as many dishes as they like from each restaurant.

In addition to enjoying all of the tasty seafood bites, guests can listen to live music, participate in nautical themed games, take photos with a mermaid, and watch seafood masters go shell-to-knife in the annual Oyster Shucking Competition.

Tickets go on sale about a month before the event and start at just $40 for advanced purchase. All tickets include all-you-can eat during the event. VIP tickets are available for early access, an exclusive lounge, and selections from the bar. Buy tickets online at www.offthehookseafoodfest.com.

Proceeds from tickets sales for Off the Hook benefit Heal the Bay, an environmental nonprofit dedicated to making the beaches, rivers, and streams of Greater Los Angeles clean and healthy. To fulfill this mission, Heal the Bay uses science, education, community action, and advocacy. Help the Sustainable Seafood Movement and learn more at www.healthebay.org.
