We’re celebrating Fall on the Santa Monica Pier with fun, family-friendly activities and cozy, warm treats. As the sun sets earlier in the day this time of year, be sure to plan ahead for your next visit to the Santa Monica Pier to take advantage of all we have to offer this month.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Fall Flavors

Seasonal, spiced flavors are back at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at Pacific Park. Sip on a Cookie Butter Latte or Ice Blended drink that combines premium espresso with spice and brown sugar cookie notes that create a sweet and spicy treat. Get in on the pumpkin craze and grab a Pumpkin Latte, Ice Blended drink or Cold Brew Latte that is a creamy blend of authentic pumpkin flavor combined with a delicate and festive blend of cinnamon and nutmeg.

Fall Hours at the Santa Monica Pier

As the sun sets a little earlier each day in the fall, so do the hours for shops and businesses on the Santa Monica Pier. The Pier is opens at 6AM daily, closing to guests around 10PM nightly. The rides at Pacific Park close at 9PM on Friday-Saturday, 8PM on Sunday, and 6:30PM Monday to Thursday. Hours are subject to change with little or no notice, please verify our operating hours at www.dev.pacpark.enki.tech/hours prior to visiting.

Huluween

Hulu is bringing more family fun to the Santa Monica Pier this Halloween weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, October 30-31, check out the immersive Halloween display on the Pier deck behind the historic Merry-go-round building. You can take a photo with their spooky props and creepy displays. 10-6 PM daily; more details to follow, so be sure to keep an eye on our Facebook page.

Spooky Halloween Show for the Whole Family

Keep your eye on the Pacific Wheel the last weekend of October to see a spooky light program featuring ghosts, vampires, and 80-foot pumpkins fly across the face of the Santa Monica Pier Ferris wheel. This delightfully brilliant display of seasonal colors and cute Halloween creatures is great way to get into the festive spirit of the season, with out being too scary for even the smallest trick-or-treaters. The Halloween and Dia de los Muertos light program can be seen at dusk from Friday, October 29th through Tuesday, November 2nd. If you canโ€™t make it to the Pier, you can always watch the light program from home with our livestream cams at www.dev.pacpark.enki.tech/live.

Dia de los Muertos

The Santa Monica Pier is honoring Dia de los Muertos, the traditional Mexican culture celebrating life and death, with an altar inside the historic Merry-go-round building. Together with The Pico Youth & Family Center, the joint event of reflection and remembrance will feature an altar dedicated to the lives of friends and relatives who have helped play an important role in the Santa Monica Pier community, Ballet Folklorico and Aztec Dancers. The altar will be on display from Saturday October 30th through Monday, November 1st. The Pier will also host “Letters of Life”, a digital mural in the Carousel that is created from submissions of cheerful anecdotes and memories about family and friends who have passed.
